Pop singer Kevin Rondon has defended good friend Cristiano Ronaldo over Saturday's birthday party.
Real Madrid fans and officials were angered by the timing of the 30th birthday celebrations, just hours after their derby humiliation by Atletico Madrid.
"Cristiano was saddened by the loss, but he could not cancel his birthday," insisted Rondon.
"The party was a family occasion. The children of many of the guests were there."
The Colombian continued: "He's a very humble person and has a very nice attitude, giving us his all.
"Many guests took pictures. If you take a picture with Cristiano Ronaldo, you want to show it on Instagram."
