Former Portsmouth, Sunderland, and Arsenal stopper Mart Poom is set to return to the Gunners as temporary cover for current goalkeeping coach Jerie Paton who is recovering from surgery. The 37 year old has also been offered further responsibilities during his four month tenure.

"In addition, I have been offered the chance to coach the women's team," Poom explained to Uefa's official website.

"I'm still in good physical shape," he added. "But Wenger has decided to prepare for the future."
