Wigan Athletic goalkeeper Mike Pollitt, 37, has signed a new one-year contract.

Pollitt is the club's longest-serving player in the squad, having arrived at the JJB Stadium from Rotherham for £200,000 four years ago.

And he's happy to battle for his place along with Kirkland and Ghana international Richard Kingson, who finished the season between the posts.
