Polish FA chief can't see Italian clubs challenging Man Utd for Lewandowski

The vice-president of the Polish FA, Marek Kozminski, doesn't believe Italian clubs can compete for the signature of Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski.

Manchester United are favourites for the Pole, though Juventus and Inter Milan are also interested.

Kozminski told TMW: "This is a very good player - in Germany he has developed in a great way.

"I don't know if Italian clubs can afford him given his market value."
