Pole vault champion Sergey Bubka has launched a bitter attack on Tottenham Hotspur's plans not to have an athletics track in London's Olympic Stadium.
Tottenham and West Ham United were chosen this month as the two final bidders to take over the stadium after the Games, with Spurs planning to remove the track.
Six-time world pole vault champion Bubka, now an IAAF senior vice-president, said: "In 2005 in Singapore when London were awarded the games, it was guaranteed to us the track would remain.
"I would say this is a matter of dignity."
