Slask Wroclaw are in advanced talks over a partnership arrangement with Arsenal.

Slask Wroclaw boss Ryszard Tarasiewicz is friends with Gunners manager Arsene Wenger and told Pilkanozna: "In the coming weeks, Gilles Grimandi, an Arsenal official, will fly to Wroclaw to scout our current batch of players.

"I have already named him a few of our players who I believe have the potential to play one day for The Gunners.

"We talked [him and Wenger] for more than an hour but I cannot disclose all the details."

Wenger, who does appear to have a photographic memory when it comes to all things football, was happy to meet up with the 46-year-old.

"'Taras' was a very intelligent player who played very well with both feet," commented Wenger. "I remember him very well."
