Pohang Steelers have held Chinese club Tianjin Teda to a 0-0 draw in the Asian Champions League overnight.
The Korean club dominated proceedings but could not capitalise on the scoreboard and had to settle for just one point.
Steelers coach Sergio Farias is confident his side will progress to the round of 16.
"We will finish in second place in the group trailing the Japanese team (Kawasaki Frontale)," said the Brazilian coach.
"It will be fair because Kawasaki appear to be stronger than us.
"My players are very tired as they are playing in both the domestic and continental competitions but I don't want to give up on either of them because we want to win every game."
