Korean club Pohang Steelers recorded their first victory of this season's Asian Champions League with a 1-0 result against China's Tianjin Teda.
Pohang controlled much of the contest against a team who were desperate for points.
They were unlucky not to go ahead on a number of occasions in the first half but finally netted that elusive goal in the 67th minute.
In a beautifully worked move, Brazilian forward Denilson crossed towards Stevica Ristic who flicked on for Hwang at the back post who finished with an unchallenged header.
The Steelers now sit in second position on the Group H table whilst Tianjin have just one point from their opening three matches and find themselves on the bottom.
