Matchday 5 of the 2014 AFC Asian Champions League was completed with the second half of group stage games taking place on Wednesday night.
In Group E, South Korean club Pohang Steelers booked their spot in the knockout phase courtesy of a 2-0 victory over Cerezo Osaka in Japan. The win allowed Pohang to move six points clear of the rest of the group who are all level on five points.
In the other group fixture, Thai side Buriram United edged China's Shandong Luneng 1-0 to move off the bottom of the table.
Group F saw FC Seoul beat Central Coast Mariners 1-0 in dramatic fashion thanks to John Hutchison's own-goal in injury-time as they moved to the top of the group, replacing the Australians, while Beijing Guoan and Sanfrecce Hiroshima played out a 2-2 draw in China.
Naoki Ishihara netted a late brace for Japan's Sanfrecce after Shao Jiayi and Joffre Guerron had given the home side a two-goal advantage.
In Group B, Uzbek outfit Bunyodkor kept their Round of 16 hopes alive with a last-gasp 3-2 triumph over Saudi Arabia's Al-Fateh courtesy of two goals in the final seven minutes.
Bunyodkor now sit third in their group, three points behind second-placed El Jaish of Qatar, who were beaten 3-1 by group leaders Foolad in Iran.
And in Group A, Al Shabab and Al Jazira continued their dominance with a 2-1 win over Esteghlal and 3-2 victory over Al Rayyan respectively.
