Pogba camp encourages Man City to open Juventus talks

Manchester City are making a shock move for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba. Despite recently signing a new deal in Turin, speculation continues to mount that the French international could return to the Premier League sooner rather than later.

Calciomercato.com says Juventus want £55m for Pogba and a move is unlikely to take place in January.

But despite being one of the top five earners in Serie A, Mino Raiola - who represents Pogba - reportedly told City that he remains open to a move to the Etihad to further boost his earning potential in the near future.

It now remains to be seen whether City are able to beat United and Chelsea to the punch should things heat up over the summer.
