Manu Pogatetz admits Middlesbrough's victory over Arsenal will be worth little if they slip up against Derby County.
"It was a very much-needed three points against Arsenal but nothing more," the former Bayer Levekusen stopper told the Evening Gazette.
"We took the lead early and it gives us a huge boost and showed we are still capable of winning and playing good football.
"But we have to stay focused on the Derby game now and do as well there as we did on Sunday and get three points."
Pogatetz is set to line up at left-back again at Pride Park and is enjoying being back after missing the first three months of the season following knee surgery.
"Of course I'm glad to be involved," said Pogatetz. "At the moment it's a fight for me to get through games fitness-wise but I can see an improvement every week."
