Lukas Podolski is expected to eventually take Robin van Persie's No10 shirt at Arsenal.
The Sun says Van Persie is desperate to leave the Emirates but retained his number 10 in manager Arsene Wenger's initial plans for the new campaign.
Podolski's number is 'yet to be confirmed' by the club, but Van Persie's departure would leave the door open for the German forward to take the Dutchman's shirt.
