Arsenal attacker Lukas Podolski was delighted with his brace in victory at Fulham.
The German hit two screamers in the 3-1 win.
"You are always unhappy when you do not play but today I got my chance and I thought I had a good game," he said.
"We have great support home and away and we are glad to get the three points which is what we needed today.
"It was a great performance away from home in a derby. It was not easy but we showed our qualities against Fenerbache and again today and now we look forward to the game on Tuesday."
