Mauricio Pochettino has implored his Tottenham side to show plenty of improvement in their upcoming matches.
Spurs overcame a poor second half to defeat Asteras Tripoli 2-1 in Greece in their Group C Europa League fixture and although the result was welcomed by the boss, he urged his players to get better in order to experience more success as the season progresses.
"We need to improve, we need to work hard," said the Argentine.
"I explained after the game with Newcastle that we need to work very hard with our mentality to be focused on the game for 95 minutes.
"It is one aspect that we need to improve, but it is hard to work because it is a difficult aspect to improve in football."
The victory allowed Spurs to move to the top of the group table with eight points form their four European fixtures.
