Newcastle attacker Moussa Sissoko is on the radar of Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino.
The London Evening Standard says Sissoko could emerge as a late-window target for Tottenham as the club seek to deliver the attacking midfielder requested by Pochettino.
The Newcastle player has admirers at White Hart Lane, as at other clubs, but the Championship club have so far refused to drop their £35million asking price.
Sissoko, 27, has not made a single appearance for Newcastle this season and was courted by Inter Milan and Juventus earlier in the summer - only for the Italian clubs to step back when they learned the size of the fee.
Tottenham are unlikely to offer £35m for a player who would request a substantial contract and who would command little resale value.
