According to the Independent, Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is open to reuniting with Manchester United defender Luke Shaw during the January transfer window.

Shaw appears to not be part of Jose Mourinho's plans and has been heavily linked with a move to Spurs over recent weeks.

He could be used as part of a possible deal that could see Danny Rose joining United in January.

Shaw and Pochettino built up a strong relationship when they previously worked together at Southampton.

For Shaw, a move to Spurs could be the perfect way to re-launch his career given that he has only started three Premier League games for United this year.
