Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino says there'll be more new contract announcements in the coming weeks.
Eric Dier followed Christian Eriksen in committing his future to Spurs on Tuesday after signing a five-year deal that will keep him at the club until 2021. Kyle Walker, Erik Lamela and Jan Vertonghen have all reportedly also been in talks over new deals as reward for the club's qualification for the Champions League and Pochettino is delighted with the progress being made in this area.
"It is always important to keep your best players and English talent. That is very important for the club. It is fantastic news," he said of Dier's new deal.
"In the next few days maybe there will be another player with the same news as Eric and Christian. It's important for the club, not just me."
