Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino explained the complicated process that goes on at the club regarding transfer decisions.

Pochettino was speaking in an interview with football.london, where he touched on the methodology at the club regarding buying and selling players.

"We share the decision, between Daniel, us and now Steve [Hitchen, the chief scout]. Of course the last word is in between us," said Pochettino to football.london.

"If you disagree it is like you at home. When you disagree with your wife or your girlfriend you fight until one gets the final decision!

"Don't underestimate Daniel, don't underestimate Daniel. The most important is to be clear. He is the chairman and owner and I am the manager and of course if he brought me here to work it is because he believes in me and trusts in me.

"Of course he is going to ask me what I think about the football decisions of the club and then, for me, it is so important to share the decision because it is the way that I like to work.

"If we are going to sign or sell a player, of course Steve, our chief scout is going to have a very good opinion and vision to help the club take the best decision and Daniel with his experience and us we are going to share the decision and always we are going to take the decision that we believe is the best for the club of course."
