Mauricio Pochettino says having an English core is key to Tottenham's success.
Tottenham are currently fifth in the Premier League and are set to name a team full of young England players against Chelsea on Sunday.
Pochettino said: "I always believe when you are in a country like England managing a club like Tottenham, you need to provide a good balance of English players and those from outside of the country.
"Tottenham have an unbelievable environment, with our training ground and academy with lots of young talent. It is very important to give those young players good enough the opportunity to play.
"That helps the team to create a strong identity. I think we have a very good relationship with the academy, from the bottom of the club to the top."
