Plymouth Argyle's top-scorer Paul Gallagher is unsure if he has a future at parent club Blackburn Rovers.
The seven-goal striker is on loan at Home Park from Blackburn Rovers until the end of the season.
But he told BBC Radio Devon that Rovers boss Sam Allardyce has said he is surplus to requirements at Ewood Park.
"He said I can stay on loan until the end of the season but if a bid comes in January he'd consider it," he said. "There's been no bids yet but there's rumours around, but I don't want to say as they're only rumours.
"In my mind I'll be here until the end of the season but football's a funny game. It could come to the last day of the January window and someone could take a chance on me and put that bid in."
