Plymouth Argyle have signed Aberdeen midfielder Chris Clarke in a £200,000 deal.
Clark trained with his new team-mates on Wednesday and goes straight into the squad for Saturday's Coca-Cola Championship clash with Southampton.
Argyle boss Paul Sturrock told the club's official website: "Chris can play in four or five positions, so its obviously of great benefit to us that he comes with great pedigree.
"He's had a long spell at Aberdeen, he really wants to do well, and he will kick on from a fresh start."
Clark recently rejected the offer of a new contract to stay with the Aberdeen, where he made 233 appearances.
