Plymouth send keeper Stockdale back to Fulham

Plymouth have sent goalkeeper David Stockdale back to Fulham.

The 24-year-old's loan, which started in January, came to a conclusion following Saturday's 3-0 defeat at Nottingham Forest. Stockdale made 21 appearances for the Pilgrims. Romain Larrieu is set to return in goal for Sunday's home game against relegated basement side Peterborough.

Argyle boss Paul Mariner confirmed: "David has gone back. We didn't play Romain in the reserves game at Reading on Monday. We didn't want to risk him, because we need him for Sunday."
