Plymouth Argyle boss Paul Sturrock hopes to tempt Portsmouth goalkeeper David James to the club if he ever decides to leave Fratton Park.
"We're very much trying to build a squad to keep us in the area of the league we've been in all season and to make us competitive for that promised land (the Premier League) that Plymouth has never tasted.
"Some players go for £10,000 a week wages in our league. For us to compete with that, there's just no chance. It's very much location, location, location."
Not so much with the players but you can understand their wives or girlfriends - leaving their home town for deepest South Devon.
"I've been pleased to hear that David James says he wants to play in Plymouth one day. He already lives in Devon...one day, maybe."
