Spartak Moscow goalkeeper Stipe Pletikosa has confirmed he hopes to join Tottenham in the summer.

Pletikosa saw a January move to White Hart Lane scuppered due to a failed medical.

"We were talking but we were not able to complete the transfer," Pletikosa told Jutarnji list. "But we made a deal and will look again at that in the summer and I really hope luck will be on my side this time.

"I was shown a great deal of respect by Tottenham and I am grateful to the coach Harry Redknapp."
