Spartak Moscow goalkeeper Stipe Pletikosa is convinced he will join Tottenham at the end of the season.
Pletikosa has told friends he will join Tottenham in the summer, says the News of the World.
Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has been strongly linked with Portsmouth keeper David James after losing Carlo Cudicini when the Italian was hurt in a motorbike crash.
But he insists he will not be signing a goalkeeper in January.
Pletikosa has been recommended by Niko Kranjcar, who played with him during a loan spell at Hadjuk Split three years ago.
He is valued at about £6million and would join fellow Croatians Kranjcar, Luka Modric and Vedran Corluka in the Tottenham squad.
