The administrators of Crystal Palace have confirmed that they have had interest from 36 separate buyers for the Championship club. The Eagles were placed into administration last month and deducted 10 points, and they have since dropped into the relegation zone.
But administrator Brendan Guilfoyle remains confident of a quick sale.
He said: "We are in face to face discussion with a number of interested parties and a 14-day extension gives them the necessary time to understand the purchasing process and to finalise their offers."
The new closing date for any of the 36 parties to lodge a formal bid for the club is 5pm on Friday, March 12.
