Norwich City's Russell Martin was full of praise for goalkeeper John Ruddy after the 1-1 draw against Liverpool on Sunday.

The 28-year-old goalkeeper was in inspired form against the Reds as the Canaries held them to a draw at Anfield.

After the match, Martin told Sky Sports: "John Ruddy was brilliant.

"At times when you're away from home and the way we play it asks a lot of us and we need him to produce and four or five times today he was excellent - he came out, made himself big, made some fantastic saves. Full credit to him, it's a tough job being a goalie."
