Former Tottenham boss David Pleat feels his old club can still finish in third place.
QPR did Spurs a favour with victory over Arsenal yesterday.
Pleat told the Sunday Mirror: "It's still possible to finish third.
"Spurs have played some very good games and had some very good wins this season. It reminds me a bit of that 1986-87 campaign. We played some brilliant stuff.
"Mind you, I think only four of the current side would get into that side.
"Gareth Bale would, certainly.
"The two full-backs - Kyle Walker and Assou-Ekotto - and maybe Luka Modric. We had such great players."
