Villarreal boss Juan Carlos Garrido believes the fact his side is taking on Manchester City will force his players to give 100% effort.
The Spanish outfit host the in-form City at El Madrigal in the Champions League group stage tonight and Garrido is looking for a completely unified endeavor from Group A's bottom placed team.
"We know we are up against a great team, and we know how well they have been doing in their league, but knowing that will help us to focus on the game," told UEFA's official website.
"Playing a team like Manchester City should give players a reason to give 100 per cent, and we will do our best to win. We have to play the match of our lives.
"With the odds against us, Villarreal will become stronger and fight harder. Two weeks ago we deserved more in Manchester, but we have two options: let our heads drop or rise up, and that's what we will try to do."
