Platt insists Man City can cover Yaya Toure absence

Manchester City coach David Platt feels they can handle Yaya Toure's absence.

The loss of Yaya to the African Nations Cup will be a huge blow but Platt insists they will learn to cope.

He said: "I'm not sure how many games Yaya is gone for but we lost him last year and still won the league.

"We still have a dressing room full of quality players."
