Manchester City coach David Platt feels they're returning to their best.
City management was delighted with the performance for victory over Sunderland.
"Once we got the second goal against Sunderland, there was a freedom that came about us," Platt said.
"But if you don't close games off, the opposition aren't demoralised either and they press, they work hard and always feel they have a foothold in the game. That can disrupt your pattern and the way you play. We are delighted with where we are at the moment."
