Miralem Pjanic was happy with his new role under Roma coach Luciano Spalletti for their 1-1 draw with Hellas Verona.
It marked Spalletti's first game in charge since replacing Rudi Garcia.
“During the week I spoke with the Coach, he put me in front of the defence. I made many touches, clearly we need to improve and be more precise, but I did like the new position," Pjanic told Sky Sport Italia.
“We have to work on the movements and in this game we allowed Verona to go clear on goal two or three times, so we should've finished it off earlier. We can learn from it."
