David Pizarro has welcomed new Roma signing Ludovic Giuly.

Pizarro said of Roma's capture of the former Barcelona winger: "Giuly is a great signing, we'll give him a big welcome."

On Roma defender Christian Chivu's situation, he added: "Above all, it's a delicate topic to face because we are speaking about a sensitive boy. I hope the issue is resolved soon."
