Former AS Roma midfielder David Pizarro is pleased with his move to Fiorentina.

Pizarro spent part of last season on-loan to Manchester City.

"I said yes to Fiorentina because I am a man of my word, because the Coach called me and this is most important thing, because Florence is a place of prestige.

"Also, there is a nice chunk of Roma players here and this impacted on my choice a lot," said Pizarro.
