Andrea Pirlo will need some convincing to stay with Juventus as his contract winds down.
Juve GM Beppe Marotta is anxious to keep hold of the midfield veteran and has been in regular contact with his representatives for the past month about a new deal.
But Pirlo has concerns about where he will fit in Juve's future plans, with the club in the market for a new midfield playmaker.
At this stage in his career, Pirlo doesn't want to play second fiddle to anyone and is prepared to leave the champs if they cannot provide the guarantees he's seeking.
