Villarreal midfielder Robert Pires has warned former club Arsenal not to take them lightly in the Champions League quarterfinals.
"For sure I do believe in my team, even if I know that other ones have won more titles and have a bigger budget than ours, but we are good enough to beat anyone," Pires told Villarreal TV.
"I hope that my team-mates think the same as me and are convinced that we are capable of doing it."
"Some thought that moving to Villarreal was like going on holiday for me and that I would not be committed to the team," he added.
"But we have proved them wrong. I came for the great project and because my idea was to act like a professional."
