Robert Pires would love to sign a new deal with Aston Villa.
The former Arsenal man joined Villa in November on a six-month contract and has impressed during his time at the Midlands under Gerard Houllier.
When asked about the possibility of signing a new deal, the 37-year-old Frenchman said: "I like it here very much so we will wait and see. I am very happy here."
"I want to play as long as possible - but it depends on my legs!"
