Robert Pires says he wants to open talks about a new contract with Villarreal.

The Frenchman said: "Of course I would like to stay at Villarreal, hopefully I can renew my contract here and stay longer, but I am not in command of such a decision. For me now it is not an obsession, the first thing is to win the next match and that the team continues winning games."
