Arsenal legend Robert Pires believes they can win at Champions League opponents AS Monaco tonight.

Pires played in a Gunners team which did something similar against Inter Milan in the group stage in 2003 - and insists Arsene Wenger's men can beat the odds.

He told the Daily Star: "In my opinion it was an accident against Monaco. It's not finished. Arsenal still have a great opportunity to go through.

"I think anything is possible. But they need to play the perfect game. If you score early you can put pressure on the Monaco players.

"When we played Inter Milan we lost 3-0 at home but we went there and won 5-1. That just shows that anything is possible."
