Frederic Piquionne expects to make his home debut for West Ham United against Deportivo La Coruna.
The former Lyon striker is looking forward to the August 7 friendly.
Piquionne told whufc.com: "It will be special for me to play my first game for the club at Upton Park.
"It will be good for me of course and good for the fans to see the new team and the new manager. It is going to be an important match. I want to play and score goals. This season, we have the team for playing in the top ten and maybe we can a cup. It would be nice."
