Yerry Mina is still to win over the Barcelona locker room since his January arrival.

The former Palmeiras defender has made a big impact with his teammates, who appreciate his bubbly personality, but on the pitch questions have been raised.

Don Balon says Gerard Pique, for one, has complained to coaching staff that Mina isn't up to speed on the tactical demands of the LaLiga and will need time to learn his craft before he can be risked in the biggest games.

To that end, coach Ernesto Valverde agrees, which has seen Barca make contact with the agents of Lazio defender Stefan de Vrij, who will leave Rome in June when his deal expires.

Mina, meanwhile, is expected to be loaned out to a LaLiga rival next season.
