Pique hits out at Barcelona critics: We have not bottomed out

Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has hit out at critics after their draw with Valencia in the Copa.

The result came days after being held by Villarreal in the Liga.

But Pique argued: "Sometimes you don't win, but a draw in the Copa is a good result.

"We are optimistic. The talk that we're bottoming out is exaggerated, we are not sliding, this is untrue."

They get favoured in laliga, Cl, copa, & in all d super cups, r all these refs catalonians or we r jus haters 4rm d capital, if they were laliga champs only, then mayb we can argue about refs! Bt they r world champs coz of refs? Total trash!!

You av ur mouth to say anything u wish bt we shal c at d end of d seasom.

Barca has ran out of steam.

Messi never gets a break to rest and recharge...Villa is out for the remainder of the season...Affelay is a long term injury problem...Sanchez is in and out of the treatment room...and Pedro's goals have dried up. The front line just isn't the same. Cuenca may be one for the future but they're expecting him or hoping that he can replace the production of seasoned successful players.

Xavi and Iniesta have wowed us too much in the past and they've dipped in form too. We've come to expect them to blow every team out of the water like they've done in the past.

Pep hasn't recruited anyone because the club is broke.

They're not out of the title race (mathematically) but they should aim for next season when they're healthy again.
