Barcelona defender Gerard Pique says they proved their quality in victory over AC Milan.

Milan were beaten 4-0 and went out 4-2 on aggregate.

"I think we believed we could do it from the first minute," Pique told ITV.

"Scoring early helped a lot. The atmosphere was amazing. I think we played really well.

"We were a better team than them."
