Barcelona defender Gerard Pique says players at the Nou Camp AND Real Madrid won't miss Jose Mourinho. The former Real coach will be unveiled as new Chelsea manager today.
"We're not going to miss him, in the sense that he is worth more to you (media) than us," said Pique. "I think in the end he wore down the players of Real Madrid and Barcelona."
On El Clasico clashes involving Mourinho, Pique continued: "There was a football rivalry, which was strong, but it was not just football.
"The rivalry continued at press conferences, but football is played on the pitch and you try to win with the weapons you have.
"The El Clasico was turned into something we'd never seen before."
