Erik Pieters has enjoyed his first season with Stoke City.
Pieters joined the Potters from PSV Eindhoven last summer as part of Mark Hughes overhaul of the club.
He said: "This is my first season in England and I'm enjoying it. The people here have supported me.
"From the very beginning I've been happy here and if you're happy here your performances get better and better.
"Of course if results are good it gets better and better. We know what we can do and that's why we're getting good results.
"To beat 47 points would mean a lot to the whole club. I think it shows how far we've come to the fans."
