Former Everton midfielder Steven Pienaar is training with Sunderland, according to Sky Sources.
New Black Cats boss David Moyes managed Pienaar from 2007 to 2011 at Everton, and the Scottish manager has stated the importance of adding new players to the Sunderland squad ahead of the forthcoming season.
