Pienaar happy with Spurs debut - but more to come from me

Steven Pienaar says there's more to come from him at Tottenham.

The former Everton midfielder made his debut in the 1-1 draw at Newcastle United on the weekend.

Pienaar told his club's official website, tottenhamhotspur.com: "It's always a real pleasure to make your debut.

"I didn't expect it to happen so quickly and I'm now looking forward to playing more games.

"It was my first training session on Friday. You have to get used to team-mates but we all want to play the same game, so it's quite easy.

"It's an attacking team and with the players here, we're always going to score goals.

"I hadn't played for two weeks, so I'm quite happy. I'll only get better."
