Steven Pienaar hailed the manner of Tottenham's victory at AC Milan.
The South Africa midfielder believes patience was the key on Tuesday having found ourselves on the defensive for large periods of the second half.
He told the club's website: "We were so well organised and we knew that a goal would come as usual, which it did late in the game.
"It can't get better than this! Champions League, coming to a full house at the San Siro and getting a great result with an away goal.
"Now it's up to us to go home and make sure we get the win. I'm looking forward to the return match.
"It's going to be a different game at home so we just have to stay focus and keep doing what we did on Tuesday and just believe in ourselves."
