Steven Pienaar has hailed the summer market work of Everton boss Roberto Martinez.

Pienaar was the matchwinner yesterday against Hull City.

"The players that have come in have given us a lift," he said. "That has been important. They way they have been playing has been good and it's helped other players to push themselves as well."
