Stephen Pienaar is excited about his move to Everton.

The 25-year-old South Africa international has now completed his move to the Merseyside club on a year-long loan deal from German club Borussia Dortmund after he was granted a work permit.

"I am really excited to have joined a traditional club like Everton," he told evertonTV.

"It is always a good opportunity for the players to play in Europe and I am looking forward to making a return myself as I missed it last season."
